Initial thoughts
As per my comment below, what I like about this image is the the atmosphere - sad and full of longing. It makes me think of a sad somebody sitting inside a room in the dark looking out of each of these windows.

Composition/ Content
I think the reason for this feeling is the solid black of the interiors that works well for me as well as the simplicity of what’s outside – no spectacular vistas – just every day suburbia.
For this reason I think the gradiated lines separating the three windows look out of place. So I’d prefer this with only a solid black space between each window – it would look almost like a supernatural bay window.
I’d like to see more space above and a little more space below each window– to me the top and bottom of the windows seems to be missing.

Fits The Challenge
I think it does though the image is perhaps more of an emotional communication than a representation of a storyline, to me.

My Opinion On The Photo
Like it!

Hmm.. Not as good as I had hoped. The trick to this shot is that it's taken in 3 completely separate rooms. Just careful observation of layout and persepective.

It was inspired by this photo by DeCarava.

Thanks for the great comments guys!

I take it each window was a different exposure? It works nicely and the exposure is just right.

Very creative, I like the use of Black and White. Looks like an extension to a house.

Great idea. Perfect in b&w. The left picture is not as good as the other ones, but overall a triptych I like very much.

Well constructed series...first glance, this could be a single photo, scene changes nicely "hidden". As I write this critique, the depth of this image is growing on me. Score upgrade from 7 to 8. Rob the Swash

I really, really like this photo. This should definatly get first. It's awesome.. something about the mood of it, and the composition just struck me as awesome. It captures the mood of something creepy, dark.. yet once bright a cheery. I really like this, keep this kind of stuff up!

Nice scene, would have had more impact with a human being populating it. 7

I like the atmosphere of this - kind of sad and full of longing. It also makes me think of someone sitting inside in the dark looking out of each of these windows. I am not sure about the gradiated separator lines.

This one has a great optical illusion. It looks like a wide angle lens was use to get a nook-like room. This is great.
