I have to admit, I saw a similar photo done from this station, and loved the colours, so I went there on the way home from work. (Will try to find the photographers name later)
This is the Westfriedhof underground station in Munich. The colours are just amazing. Hope it doesn't get hammered as the leading lines don't lead to a subject, But we'll see.

Oops, I just noticed I have entered the Framed version I didn't want.
I think I'll leave it & see how it does.

Post processing = crop, levels, sharpen, Upped the saturation a little. Thats all.

EDIT 04.07.05: Wow 4th!! And no comments on my frame which I didn't want to include.
I looked up the photographers name it was Gabriela (Ella) Powel. I tried to make my photo a little different from hers.

I really don't know what to say? This picture is awesome! The colors are wonderful, composition is great and so is everything thing else. As far as the frame goes...it is not a big deal to me. I don't think that it helps the photo, nor does it hurt the photo. I feel bad that I rec. your picture to critique because I do not have one suggestion for you. I think that the picture is perfect the way it is. COngradualtions to you! Maybe you could give me some pointers!! LOL

Congrats on winning a ribbon, even if through DQ. You are right, the colors are what makes this entry and you were smart to take the picture because of it. It is a super picture.

Boy that's rich... I wish you'd squared up the verticals with a half degree or so ccw rotation. Strong entry. It's perhaps more a "perspective" shot than a "leading lines" shot, but who's picking nits? There aren't that many "true" leading liens shots in the challenge anyway.

A good example of vanishing point, but not leading lines so much as I understand it...ok...I just took the time and looked it up...Google is Great, by the way...and I do admit that the lines in your photo do lead my eyes to a specific place. I would like to see some sort of focal point, though, to make this a truly wonderful shot. I'll give you an 8...you deserve it after reading my comment.
