Because this picture was taken late in the day it has good directional light. She was a good subject because she wasn't paying any attention to me.

good candid - lots of concentration. Is it finished yet ? :)

bet she can put the nest together

Very nice composition. I like the graininess and use of light and shadow.

The soft focus is a very nice touch.

Nice shot, the lighting is awesome. I wish it was more clear.

I think the black and white really makes this photo, and I can't even put a finger on why. I'd say you've certainly accomplished the challenge task. I like the slight graininess and very subtle lighting in this shot. Great job.

It seems that your picture is a little "out of focus".
06/07/2002 02:28:00 AM
Too bad the focus is soft. This is an awesome pic.

This is a really great shot, with good feeling to it. The background is slightly distracting below her face, but that's okay.

I like this a lot. The lighting and especially the pose are very intriguing. Works very very well. Slightly soft, grainy, is that intentional?

Very nice environmental portrait. Love the light you caught here, and the softness sets the mood - lazy afternoon with an obsessive-compulsive. {g} The position of her legs took some working out - maybe a little more shadow detail there would help. Very fine.

Very good.Thanks

This is an excellent black and white... I LOVE the grain in this shot.. it's a very close resemblance of actual film grain... good job!

Good composition and one of the few people shots here I liked much. Its kind of grainy though. And I would have liked the focus just a little sharper. Did you use a tripod? It might have helped with this if you did not.

I like this shot my only problem with it is the focus. Still like it though.

I love the composition of this photo, and the dramatic lighting over the arm and hand, and the opposite shoulder. Nice amount of contrast.

the indistinct focus didn't work for me.
06/03/2002 03:49:00 PM
Nice job. Maybe a little out of focus, but still a nice b&w.
06/03/2002 03:47:00 PM
I like the soft look
06/03/2002 03:44:00 PM
Wow, what a cool retro kind of thing to do! Who has time for puzzles anymore?!
06/03/2002 03:30:00 PM
I like the soft focus and good scale coverage.
06/03/2002 10:01:00 AM
Nice but grainy
06/03/2002 12:54:00 AM
I wanna say I want more focus, but I kinda like the softness of it. I'm undecided.
