What a fantastic shot and it really hits the Challenge. It is very pleasing and well rounded. The shot causes the eye to wonder comfortably through out the shot. There are no over powering areas. Even the background is pleasant and adds to viewing. The only thing I could possibly be critical of would be the mothers face. It may be my monitor but it seems a bit too much sharpening was used. Again It may be my monitor. Over all this is the nicest picture I have had to critique and by far the easiest. PERFECT. Well done keep up the awesome work.

Apes are certainly very family oriented. So sweet with their babies. This photo is very well captured. I think I have seen other ape photos on this site. You must have a nice zoo close to you. I wonder if your the same person with the other good ape photos?

I like the 'flow' of this picture, as I would call it. All their hair is sort of flowing to the right, the same directon they're looking and the same with the crop (the handsome subjects are on the right). It really makes this photo have impact.

Great colors although in a way a bit unrealistic it comes out good. You get good details on the hair which is always difficult.

Really nice capture. I love orangutans. Their expressions are great! Pretty good DOF (although it's not as sharp as it could be in spots). Lighting against the back/side wall is a little harsh too, but it's tough to count off much for this shot. Nice work!

I am not one of those prissy pin pricking voeters that nit pick every image. this has one major fault that looses ribbon status and that is the great amount of white uninteresting backgroung Yuk man that is bad, but the rest of it somehow makes up for it the expressions are priceless and I will vote an 8 for this one
