Predicted a top 10 here, but expected a ribbon. This was a GREAT shot (and my top pick).

Very good eagle photo. The way you bordered it is classy.

The detail and exposure of the eagle is perfect. I'll vote solely in that image and not the presentation which I do not like. The eagle image out weighs but I do think you might rethink it.

This picture is really striking. The lighting is perfect and I love how you can see the eagle but everything else fades to black. The eyes are another thing that draw you in, they're so prominent.

I love this photo. I don't care at all for the borders that have been added, or the cropping. I think there are some photos which can ignore the "rule of thirds" and this is one of them. I would have eliminated the borders and cropped the right side, focusing more on the eagle. 9

Stunning. One of the sharpest raptor shots I've seen. Composition is quite good, although a tighter, vertical crop might have had even more impact. Should make the top 10 easily. 9

Another great shot in this challenge! Clarity is brilliant, nice and sharp focus, like that it's not dead centre.

I really like how you've done the border, never thought of doing one like that! Full Marks! 10

As far as I can see this is a flawless photo, and I think the unusual border adds to it

Nice composition and I like the border, looks a tad bit oversharpened in the feathers to me (7)

Very nice capture. HIs eye and feather detail is good. I like your use of negative space - it gives the shot the impact I think you were going for. Nicely done.

Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice

Great detail, I'm not sure about the border though, those pixels could have been used to show the detail of this photo, but instead, they are black
