My favourite of the elephant shots; the trunk gives it life and depth. And naturally, the texture of this subject is always appealing. 8

There seems to be a few elephant pics but this is by far the best! Great texture. 9

Beautifully done. Every detail is focused on and highlights texture. Elephants are hard to shoot because they rarely stand still. This is a wonderfully crisp capture but possibly a bit over sharpened.

One of my favorites as far as the elephant shots go. You showed more of the elephant itself than the other photos have, and give me more of a connection to what I'm seeing. Great texture! 9

I am amazed at the level of detail in this one. Through our the frame you can see evey tiny bit. The composition is unusual and it stops you. I think this is a great shot. Well done.

Very good capture of highlights and shadows. Love the line the trunk makes. Nicely cropped for a very effective composition. Bumping. 9

I really like the asymetrical composition and the difference in textures between the elephant's ears and the rest of him.

I really like this composition with the trunk helping to frame the eye (7)

I just love these elephant shots! They are the best example of texture out there, and this one is an especially good one! I actually wanted to use on myself but he wouldn't pose for me. I think this one is better anyway :) I love the way there are so many textures in his trunk, the ear, around his forehead. You did great. 10

One of the better elephant shots. It not only has great detail and texture but a true focal point. The placement of his trunks is well noted. Nice color too. GOOD JOB. 9
