It's a woody shot.. there'll be a million of them.. but I doubt any of them will be lamenting over what happened to all the *OTHER* woodys..

I really do like this!

Seriously, I do. I just bought a Pentax M 28mm f/3.5 & was just researching pics taken with some of its brethren. I've looked at your photos before, being a fellow Pentax nut (sorry about the assumption if it is off the mark), but somehow never saw this one. It is very evocative & shows great storytelling & personification - that is to say:

THIS IS THE BEST EVAR!

MUWAHAHAHAHAH ;)

I just laughed out loud. This is an incredibly witty image. You managed to create something original and new with a woody, who I am usually bored of.

Hehehe good one, reminds me a bit of the work of Dave Nischke (or however you spell his last name).

Grats on the high finish. I didn't realise it was yours until I looked at the *ist DS page. I gave it 10.

Some people come up with some very creative shots with woodies, and I find this to be a great example :-) Lighting is great, wonderful dof, good composition. I really like how not only have you pulled off humor, but some emotion as well out of a woodie shot. Overall, very clever, creative concept, executed quite nicely IMO. Nice job. thanks.

Very creative. Made me laugh. Don't usually like the woody pictures, but the lighting and thought behind this is really great. High score here.

The title evokes emotion for a wooden doll - can't say I've done that since Toy Story came out! The framing works really well here.

Nice use of the model. They have almost become cliche on this site. This breathes new life into them. I really like the set up of the pic. Nice lighting too. This may be my favorite of the challenge.
