8 - Met the Challenge (I consider hands in this 'trade' a definite tool - thus I see at least 2 toolS). This photograph has a certain 'feel' to it that I can't describe sufficiently; a little dramatic, or intense - not sure. I think it is the sepia? effect, can't quite place it. Criticism; I would like to see that forearm either more focussed (though I know that the hand on the left may be 'lost' then) or perhaps it cropped a little tighter there at the bottom. Also, more of the hands, on the right and the left, in the frame would make this a better picture in my opinion. Good character in this photograph.

I really like this picture, but the blown highlight in the bottom left area is too distracting. Could've been a great picture.

A very strong image. I would have cropped this a lot tighter - cutting off everything from the right wrist down & leaving almost no space just above the head.

The hands & the clay head have so much power to them!

I think, for composition, you could lose the bottom 15% of the image (up to where the cloth starts having texture). It does not really contribute, and the high values keeps trying to steal my attention, Otherwise very nice 8.

This shot really conveys how tactile this profession/skill/art truly is. Very nicely captured and presented.
