My intention here was to create a high key image with the sunflower. All the bees in the neighborhood changed my perspective a bit. I like the motion of the bee's wingbeats being captured as it flew past as the shutter was being released. Anything faster (shutter) would have stopped the wings, slower would have blurred it all the way. I think the background sky is a bit blown out but it kind of works in making this image look a bit like art? Maybe yes, maybe no - will find out soon after the votes start coming in.

The best element of this photo: the center of the flower. The blurry bee in the middle of the image, the blown out highlights on the right side and the loss of detail on the petals hurt the image in my opinion. I don't know that this was a good subject for long exposure.

Interesting take on this chalenge. I find the yelows are a bit to washed/distorted around the edals but its a nice touch. I really like the blurry bee. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7>

7 - Colors and even the blown out highlight look good. I'm just not sure about the flying bee, it is almost dead center, drawing our attention, although it doesn't have enough detail to really keep the attention.

Interesting picture. Definitely creative. I think that you should have cloned out the green in the background to a white. Great detail on the flower and bees. Second time around - upping the score to a 7.

I really like the idea of this shot ... I'm afraid that I find the image to be overexposed and the brightness takes away from the main focus of the image.

I love how you combined movement with the macro. Love the colors. Nice angle to the shot as well. 8
