Took my "Tools of the Trade" idea and kicked it up a notch as Emeril would say. Time will only tell if the voters will punish me for submitting a similar type shot so close together.

If photography-as-effective-allegory counted for anything on this site, this would win the blue. Tremendous impact as a statement.

A most interesting effect with a winner background.

Awesome use of bokeh with the money in the background, and wonderful illusion overall. One of my favorite of the challenge, 9

The illusion is very strong. Background does enhance the shot. The composition is only so-so. Good color and detail. 6

I think that, perhaps, the playing card does not stand out from the background as much as it could do.

Woaw, that mackgropunsd gets my eyes funny.
Ive sused out you image now. Make it difficult to view for any lenght of time so that they cant see how you have set this up... Well it works for me.##
I will owait the reveal.
PS good shot well executed and a strong composition, although the background is a little too much for my taste.

Cool balancing act. The dollar bills in the background is a bit of a distraction since there's already a lot happening with your subject when it comes to color and texture.

A great shot. The background seems overly bright though, which distracts from the card.

Can't wait to see how this was set up. I'm assuming a poster in the background and a wire holding everything together... Maybe wrong though. You appear to be overexposed slightly though which tends to wash out what would otherwise be very vivid colors.

Cool idea and shot. I think the background is too light though - the white of the card almost disappears into it - detracting from the illusion. Still a good shot though.

First Impression: The edges of the card get a bit lost on the light background. Otherwise a nice clear shot.
Was I fooled? No. I don't gamble much Hehe. Yes. Impressive balancing act!

Good illusion & set up. Nice focus. Just a little too bright for my liking. The money making the background is a good idea, but it is too washed out.

i like the extra thought that went into the background. It gives the photo that extra oomph.

Oh, those are the chips I wanted to buy. Got the boring dice ones in stead. Anyway, great image, great illusion. One thing I don't like, the background is a bit too busy. 8

gtreat idea and well executed. I think the background, however, is distracting. It would have worked better if it was darker.
