You really created a mood with this shot. Maybe some think over processed, and I suppose it doesn't look as much like a photograph now - but what you have made is really lovely. Great colors and tones. I like it.

I was so sure that this was Heida! Still, I hope you take that as a compliment. It's a stunningly beautiful image - and one that IMHO should have ribboned.

Is that a tornado forming in that cloud? Way sweet shot! Love the editing!

Over processed. Beautiful shot ruined by going overboard with Photoshop.

Looks like messerschmitt? I love it! I don't even think you need all of the sky. Maybe crop it at the first sign of darkness?

Nice image, but too much dodging and burning for my taste.

This image is too dark for my liking, at least for an outdoors shot.

Just started back up on dp, looking at past challenges and admiring many of the pics. I have noticed this style in several pics that have come to be my favorite. Just a guess...Heidia? Marvelous.I am guessing that alot of d and b went on to give this that mystical look. Love the purple/blue clouds set off by the vibrant green grass. Picked back up in the stream reflection, but especially noticable in the jeans. great work.

i like it, but it seems a little over processed for my taste

I love the drama and dark flavour of this shot. It's mysterious subject behind the umbrella, stopped at the water's edge leaves me wondering at the story. Very Joey Lawrence-esque.

-edit- I rated this a ten to come back to later. I'm picking this as one of my three favourites for a ribbon, good luck!

Unbelievably great color!! I love the dramatic effect. Some may say "it's overprocessed" but really they are just jealous that you have such amazing skill.

The editing seems slightly overdone; the sky looks unnatural and the textures seem oversharpened. Even so, this is one of my higher-rated images in this challenge.

This has the unmistakable feel of Heida. I could be wrong - and if so, it's still a very big compliment! LOL Great shot!

This is a strange scene that doesnt make much sense, however it is interesting to look at and Im sure will place high based on that alone. Im trying to figure out whose photo this is.....heida? Joey?

Wow, some very dramatic toning...usually does well around here although I'm not too big on it. Neat lighting though. I'd love to see a more subdued version but this one is pretty good too.

dodge and burn jobs can be too much, and for me, this is one of those cases. 6

It seems a tad too dark maybe? A little heavy handed perhaps? JMO....The area behind the figure seems "overburnt" I keep wanting to see just a little more information there as well as in the trees...If find the reflection in the creek very intriguing, so pretty.

Shame the rain is so light in this shot... I had to look at the splashes in the river to see evidence of rain. PP definitely takes this in the direction of digital art, and I'm not 100% sure I like it, but I think it could grow on me. The effect is certainly striking. If the sky wasn't quite so burnt out, I think this would be a very strong shot. I think it's oversharpened too much for my eyes here which detracts from the effect.
