 Well....it rain for about an hour on Monday. While I was at work. I ran out and took a slew of shots. I using a new Monopod for the first or second time and well...ahem...not very good results. I was trying for the some Henri Cartier-Bresson jumping the puddle in the rain shot but...no dice. Interesting with movement of people and cars and even some discernible rain but overall...bleh. No worry, I thought, scattered thunderstorms about every day. Nothing.

Had to go the the studio and assimilate. Bought a garden bouquet on Saturday. Sprayed some water and later used an eye dropper on a pink spirder aster. Did about 50 shots with the bouquet in different positions and with different sized drops. I decided on this one. It is heavily cropped...may 2/3 of the original size or more. But I like the DOF colors the best and the randomness of the drops. It seems more like rain to me than the later ones with the big drops and reflections cause they looked placed. Enjoy....Of course, you know, it is problably going to $)%*( rain all day tomorrow! LOL! C'est la vie!

Post: Crop. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast, hue/saturation. USM. Cropped some more. Resize. USM.

Wow - very glad I came back to this the 3rd time. I missed a lot on the first two passes. Great reflections in the water droplets! Good focus, DOF, & color too. Very nice job. Bumping up again.

Great macro. i think this looks like an indoor shot due to the lighting and there's nothing wrong with that. My image is also an indoor shot. Love the reflections on the drops. 6

Another wet plant/flower shot. The focus on the droplets is wonderful. I love the oof background colours, they are very complimentary to the sharp subject colours. Great job!

A great macro shot & the reflection in the drops is amazing! I wish the background wasn't so strong but it is repeated through the drops & seems to work well
