 Well since I didn´t have the opportunity to attend any live concerts this week I decided to improvise. The models name is Kolbrun and she doesn´t really know how to play the guitar but she figured out very quickly how to make it seem as she knew what she was doing. My only regret is that I didn´t think taking with me the equipment neccesary to make a campfire as I think that could have looked cool.

Lit with ambient lighting and two flashes on umbrellas on both her sides triggered with a transmitter.

Post processing was Shadows/Highlights, decreased the saturation, curves and finally unsharp mask after resizing.

Just looking around my favs. This was one of the first pictures I voted on when I register last year. Its still one of my all time favorites. The lighting is so natural and it makes me that much more eager to upgrade my lighting equipment. Great job.

This picture is so good. I don't know why I didn't comment during the challenge? I gave it a 10. Maybe because I just couldn't put the words together at the time. I love everything about this photo. The colors, the setting, those jeans, her hair....everything is perfect. Just wonderful. These are the type of pictures I want to take. I love your work.

i knew this was staged :-p

my original comment was going to be... "if a model holds a guitar, and doesnt know how to play it, does it make a sound", but i didnt want to risk being wrong that she was a model and didnt know how to play.

congrats on the top 20! even thought its staged, still a very good shot.

This is a really nice picture! I only wonder if it's "live" music. Or is she playing to the animals? ;) Nice color balance and good focus on the musician. Nice and crisp.

Nice comp, excellent lighting beautiful musician. the only thing that bothers me is it dosen't truly fit "Live Music". I'll give it a 10 anyway. Well done.

This is a lovely shot. I really like the way you positioned the artist in the frame. The lighting is excellent. One small criticism is the subjects head position. It just looks a little too set up. I would have preferred her looking anywhere but up to the heavens!!

Pretty girl. Probably staged, but a very nice image nonetheless. Good placement, detail and coloration. Just so you know, I still gave it one of my highest scores since the image is artfully done and the composition is flawless.

A little oversharpened, but nice quality of light. Composition works well. I don't get your title, but it doesn't help this shot to meet the challenge by implying there's no audience.

I like this picture a lot. The light stuff on the tree or whatever it is to her right is a little distracting, but otherwise I like what this conveys.
