 Well I do work at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and we do have impresive organs....;-)

Not to submit to a music challenge would have been lazy at best.

The phantom in the picture is fellow DPC'er KevRobertson. I had a 4 second exposure so we counted to 2 then Kev ran for it, there's a slight trail to his left but I like it, looks like a ghostly whisp.

Had to convert to B&W coz Kev's blue jeans were a bit obvious in the colour version. Tail's borrowed from Wardrobe Department and thanks to Big Tim for showing me this amazing musical instrument.

This photo is very beautiful. You found a great subject area here. The phantom at the keyboard does not show up well on my monitor. Not sure if that it your problem or mine. Otherwise I like this shot.

The phantom is a little too transparent, but the idea is great and the composition is beautifully done.

By definition, can it be 'Live Music' if it's a phantom? Nice shot. Wish it fit the challenge better. This shot to me says staged not 'go out and find Live Music'...

Love the lighting and tones here. Strangely, I would have liked to see more of the 'phantom.' Right now I can hardly tell if there's supposed to be someone/something or not. Even if the someone/something is not supposed to be clear, I would have liked the concept to be stronger. I like the idea.

Cool picture!! Excellent take on the challenge and nice use of B&W. Would it have been possible to get a little longer exposure on the organ player? I didn't quite see him at first. 8

Nice shot. Perhaps a flash shot at the end of the exposure could have help in better defining the fanthom... 8 from me

Interesting shot, but not really sure what to make of it for this challenge. Perhaps for a 'dead music' challenge? ;-) I think he should be a tad less transparent. I do feel I have to vote this down for not meeting the challenge, but I do think it is a good shot.

almost too subtle. if the viewers don't spend enough time with this, it will not get the score you want. nice effort, though.
