Thanks for the advice skip. I'll start on that right away. ;)

I think the placing of this picture is ludicrous as IMO it deserves a place in the top ten.

Beautiful photo. I'm not sure I see the "dark and light" here but the photo is marvelous.

This shot is technically superb. Colors compositon and good focus of all the subjects has really impressed me. This is a darn nice photo. Good luck!

Absolutely beautiful....well there's another one that will knock mine of the front page for sure! Great capture, lighting, DOF and Excellent composition. 'Bout as perfect as you can get...the tear in the right Butterfly's wing is hardly your fault and I am sort of glad to see that you did not fix it. I find it only a minor distraction if I dwell on it....which I can't because the rest of the image is just so fine. Can't think of a thing I would change. Much good luck with this one. 10!!

Very sharp photo. Well done. Don't see how the title applies to this one. If the "Dark" is the butterflies, you are stretching it. Still, very nicely done.

Lovely bokeh & interesting composition. You might be reaching with your interpation with dark & light, but heck this was pretty much an open challenge. Excellent job.

Well done to get 2 butterflies in one shot

oh, iI get it, one butterfly is dark and the other is light. This is a lovely photo. You may want to try cropping just the light butterfly and flower for another version, it took mu breath away as I was scrolling down before I even saw the second one. This composition may even work well selling in advertisement, but I wouldn't submit it to a cheap paying stock site. Maybe to the Almay Stock Agency. I hear they pay better. 10 for sure

I'm not a fan of butterflies, but the clarity of your shot is very appealing. Good composition as well. 7

looks kind of like you took a picture of butterfly then dodged one & burnt the other to make it fit the challenge. If it had been a spicebush swallow tail and a tiger swallowtail, that would have worked.

Excellent clarity. I think the title is just a bit of a stretch, but won't fault you for that. I think this might be a little better if cropped to show just one flower and one butterfly.

I love the springy greens with the splashes of pink. The composition guides your eye from one side to the other without being busy. The varying heights is well balanced but not expected. The butterflies were certainly cooperative for the shot weren't they? Very pretty indeed.

Excellent photo. I know it is hard to get up close to this species of butterfly and have them hold still long enough to get a great photo. Good job - 9
