I didn't vote but if I had this would have come out top for the emotion it evokes: a nice feel of child-like playfulness, a simple enjoyment of togetherness and freedom, the differences between the bare feet and shoe reflecting the idea of each to his or her own. I don't know if I'm making sense but anyway, well done. |

I didnt see this one in the voting, but can see why it did well. Very fun and beautifully framed. Your eye is immediately pulled to the shoe with the colour difference and positioning.

This was really well spotted! The anonymity of the people is good, it keeps us looking and thinking. Good composition and lighting. The toning works well too.
A couple of minor niggles, the bright spots in the background, detract a little from the otherwise excellent picture. Still gets an 8 ;) |

| Very cleverly done! There is only ONE shoe visible, and it only occupies a small portion of the photo. Yet via composition, leading lines, the color (or lack thereof), the use of patterns etc, you managed to draw my eyes to that one show. Good job! |

| Nice, this shot is pretty good and I think you made a right choice to make this sepia toned. Just to nitpick though a couple of the feet are slightly out of the DOF (the closes one and the one farthest away) but other than that, definately one of the better shots in the challenge IMO, I gave it an 8. |

Such a nice capture. The depth of field is perfect, the warm tones perfect, the composition, you guessed it :)
I like the originality of the photo and the execution of the shot. Minor detail but there is a bit of distracting glare (?) and weird line at the bottom right? The piece of cloth also distracts a tad IMHO!
In any case, I hope you score high! Good luck |
