Shot this with my reversed 50mm (poor-man's macro). This is my cooperative cat ... in natural diffused sunlight: Shot in RAW. Made some temperature adjustments using selective color, sharpened, The only major pixel edit I made to this was getting rid of a distracting reflection in the upper eye.

A cat's eye! Nice abstract, interesting colors, and a lot to look at for such an uncomplicated image.

Interesting view and title. Not enough depth of field for my liking. 8.

Wow - great work. I trust no animals were injured in the capture of this shot!! :-)
Love to know how you got the iris to be so in focus without bolting your camera to it's head! 7

Ewww, very interesting. Great idea, nothing more mystical than the eye of a cat.

Good sharp detail of the eye, but the overall photo isn't very interesting.

Would have been a better presentation if you held a bit better detail in the eye...looks a bit grainy...try lowering the ISO...or saving the image at a higher quality for DPC :-)
