thanks again to my girlfriend Jenny for modeling for me.

lighting was one 500w worklamp, bounced off the background (my garage door). gradient was achieved by shooting with the background set to the edge of the worklight's beam, which then faded to the blue post-sunset shadows. this image is a bit silly. a bit softer than I'd like, but still DPC-friendly, maybe?

focal length 85.0mm

Very pretty, both the shot and the model. I love the pairing of the blue with the skin tones, the lighting on her face is deftly handled, but a second lamp with a snood or jury riggged barn door to add some highlight detail in the flowers, while keeping it off the model's face, might have made the image better balanced.

An intriguiing choice of subject, and nicely done. The background works really well. There does appear to be a few weird halo-things around the hand & on the leave up top, but that might just be my monitor! doesnt distract enough to make the shot loose any of its appeal. Good luck dood!

That's a really nice photograph. Very clear. But why is your title "Join the Fun!" And why is she poking her lip...I don't get it. But it's still very pretty!

Owe my, beautiful colors, and great portrait. You have quite a bit of pixel explosion going on by my monitor, but I know from experience that happens with the re-sizing most of the time so Im not counting that against you. GL, and by the way your model here is stunning.
-I just went back to adjust my final scores, and this is my top rated photo aside one other, so GL. I have looked at this photo over and over, and can't put my finger on what it is you have nailed here that nobody else has. The model is stunning, I love her playful expression. The colors are dynamite, the lighting is awesome. The clarity, and depth are good, but there is just something else that really sends it over the top for me. Maybe its the non-border, and the portraiture part of it. There wasn't many portraits out there, so maybe thats what seperates it. At any rate....Im a huge fan of whatever it is you have done.
