I was having a hard time coming up with something for the challenge. Wandered around the house inside and out until I saw this reflection. I liked it because it meant something to me - that feeling at the end of the day, finally coming home - you can unwind (get it?) It took time to get the shot composed with the house inthe hood of the car, the path in front, the steps coming down (or up?) to welcome you. I took shots over the course of the day as the light changed, and late afternoon the sun came out. Its not anything fabulous but it makes me happy. Home Sweet Home.

I think that it would be more effective if it were right-side-up instead of up-side down.. just an opinion though. Neat shot.

This just looks upside down. To add impact I think you could have included more reflection and less of the real thing.

Very intriguing as one scrolls down from the top, but I don't want the game to be given away when the background becomes visible.

guess: its an upsidedown reflection of your house in your car hood? Phew, that was a lot of work to figure out! I don't know if that was what you wanted us to have to do, but when we do have to work that hard to figure it out, it detracts from the impact of the photo. I like the reflection though, its a very creative idea bringing home and travel together.

Well... that's certainly a weird, wacky feeling. But I like that kind of thing. Nifty pic.

Is this shot upside down, in the hood of a car?

It's a parabolic mirror? no! a car! It's Initially confusing, I'd be interested to know what part of the car it is, just to clarify the picture a little more.
