Okay...it's a few minutes before the cutoff time and I'm still here debating which picture to submit, or to submit at all. Not that I haven't taken pictures. I had taken a lot last week. But nothing speaks so strongly to me.

I would be happy if this ends up in the top 20.

This is Pupae, once again. And there goes the shawl (in diferent color), once again. And the rest is my usual composition and set-up, once again. Of course I expect left-handed comments, once again. And I am learning a lot from them, once again...

Should the title of the photo be "ONCE AGAIN..."

WOW thats all i have to say i love your pictures your one of my fav photographers

CRITIQUE CLUB!

excellent composition and focus. the model's expression is perfect and i like the two-toned backdrop.

my only comment about this is the lighting. there seem to be a couple of hotspots on the right side of her face that could probably be evened out with more diffuse light, and her hair is totally lost in the shadows with the darker background. personally, i would like to see more definition behind her head on the left side -- just to make her hair a bit more separated from the background.

also, your unique means of assigning T I T L E S gives your identity away during voting. your style is so unique that it's normally easy to pick you out, but i would prefer to be left with a little bit of mystery :)

congrats on another fabulous photo!

great picture as always.. but two things i dont like. her stare is a bit too blank..not as in shes thinking about something but as in shes forces to look at a mark cause thats where her eyes look good, and the fly-aways in front of her forehead. otherwise its a great picture and i think it will place high..good job!

This is nice, but a closer up may have done better. Like your D&L entry. You are certainly talented and have a creative eye, and lucky you, all those beautiful girls to shoot.

Manny, you have to stop giving yourself away with the all caps and spaced out titles. beautiful model and really nice pose. I like the diagonal of her scarf and the division of the frame with 2/3 bright white and the other side in shade. well done, as always!

I love the color and the composition especially the way the sweater/scarf wraps around her and then fades into the corner. I also love the lighting on her face. The background is a bit distracting in that it has some detail but then just fades out.

Quite lovely, I really like the composition, it gives it a whole different feel from a "standard" portrait.

her eyes feel distant and detached - some sparkle and involvement would show more of her personality -

Nice pose, good focus and lighting. I like the almost white background, isolates the model very well, especially with the black to the left. Good job.

Love the light on her face & the background. The only thing that I would do to it is the strands on hair on her forhead are a little distracting.

This photo has been validated. That must mean it's too good to be true ;)
I don't see why this would get a DQ request. Then again, maybe they where not sure about the dark/light background. Nicely blurred.
Beutifull girl, very nice light.
I realy like the look, just outside of the lense, she looks like she's thinking about something or someone.
Deserves a ribbon.

The right half of the picture is a big 100% white blur that rub quite a bit of attention of the main subject. However, lighting on the subject is about perfect.
