 Saw this view of the sun breaking through some dark storm clouds as my friend and I were driving along the coast. I hollered at her to stop the car and she swerved to the side so I could jump out of the car with my camera in hand. Fired off three shots before the light shifted and the rays were gone.

Rotated to fix the horizon, cropped very slightly, slight levels adjustments, unsharp mask helped the foreground grasses...

I'm worried about the narrow definition of perspective some may have. To me this fits because of the foreground elements that give depth to the image, and because of the sheer majesty of Mother Nature's canvas making me feel about *this* big.

I don't know, I think people will like it and I hope that's enough.

I knew this was Oregon! :) I thought it might have been a charliebaker shot, though, but seems I was wrong. :)

Anyways, congrats on the solid finish! Very peaceful shot.

A nice landscape photo. I like how you captured the sun's rays. For me, the sky is so wide it cuts down on the dramatic perspective as compared to other entries in the challenge.

Lovely shot. Not crazy about the wordy title. Let there be Light would have worked and not so long. Just my taste.
