Thanks folks for looking! This is the famous Bonneville Salt Flats, where land speed records are made. On this day, though, I'm only going about 2 mph!

I really appreciate all the comments and suggestions! Thanks!

Great finish, this was one of my favorites, and I suspected Utah's salt flats. Just love the blue blue sky and white white ground.

Congrats, this shot is excellent. Just enough detail in the ground, and that gradient in the sky really pulls the viewer into the shot. Good work.

This was one of my best scorers in the challenge. I like the simplicity of it all. Unfortunately I didn't have time to comment during the hallenge but this photo rocks.

The black sky contrasts a bit much for me compared to the rest of the photo

Everything about this photograph seems to work. The expanse of the land matched by the sky. The hiker balanced by the clouds and mountains. Good use of the rule of thirds. The only thing that I might of change is to give the hiker dark trousers and a light shirt.

I think I like this one better in B&W (use a combination of the red and green channels in Channel mixer in Photoshop).

Other than that, it's really nice. Perhaps nitpicking, I don't like how the sky to left is cut off and the black dot in the sand to the right of the guy.

This looks like the Salt Flats of Utah. You've done a nice job of providing contrast and still providing a feeling of destination. 7
