Trust me zara-opal. everything is real. The color adjustment wasn't even that drastic. Of course with basic editing you can't have anything too drastic. I had a hell of a time getting that flower where I wanted it. The only thing bugging me is the dust on the vase and the color banding on the vase and background. Took care of all that in the advanced edit version. A little banding left on it but all I could do for it. Thanks everyone.

| Usuallly I ding people a couple points for abuse of floral themes but the color and the vase seem to do more than compensate for this, great photo! If it was anything but a flower coming out of the vase you'd have a ten, - 9 |

| Wow! Lighting on the subject is soft and perfect. Love shadows that compliment the orange vase and the tulip. The hues are beautiful and vibrant. The eye is immediately captivated with the imagery and the colors hold our attention. Very nicely done! |

oh now this should win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most spictacular great composition and framing, i lov the way the vase is half out of the frame, and how the flower spans the frame in that purfect arch....there is this great smooth tone that u have created by way of very well done lighting and i can't find a flaw in this as an image, and as a pic of art stock art etc. it is just splended...and oh yes the colors work very well...i really truly hope this makes top 5 and really hope for top 3...cause that is where it belongs.....
btw i also love the gradation of blue in the backround.....awww, hell its goi to the favs.
