I must chime in as well. Amazing picture, creative use of color, scary score, should be top three with gaurawa. Yours and gaurawas are the two best, easily.

Way cool shot. Love the way it seems as though the entire structure is collapsing and sliding off into the lower left. Awesome work.

Your use of grain here was highly effective, even moreso, IMO, than that of those who placed higher. When I looked at it again once the challenge was done I realized it must a shot of a pier or landing of some kind... would not have imagined Niagra though. Fine work.

Presumably this is an elevated boardwalk above an ocean very convincingly turned to fire and brimstone. It's a terrific composition, expertly photographed and processed, but it's the great idea that impresses me the most. 8 ... Nope, bump to 9.

Very intense. Looks like your in the midst of a hurricaine. Color treatment was a good choice. Figure seems a bit broken up, though. Anyway, overall the image was very powerful.

That is an appropriate title. I had to look twice to realize that the "fire" is actually water.
Great entry.

It's amazing what post-production can do to a picture. What once was water now looks like lava. I sorta wish it had even more grain as it is really only noticeable in the bottom left. 8
