OK so let me explain what I was thinking because no one seemed to get it.

If you where to stand that close to a cheetah it would most likely be your dead end, "Nowhere to Run" also ment to point out that the cheetah is so fast that theres no hope of running away.... oh well hopefully my next challenge will be better ;)

wow - scary - i think this passes for a dead end - and a fave! I also like that the "imperfections" are left in the fur. 7

A little bit of a stretch, but clever for those who make the connection.

Very lovely picture of this animal, but there is no context to back up your title.

Absolutely gorgeous! Would have voted it higher if the challenge message was stronger.

Good portrait, but I don't get a "dead end" feeling.

A great capture of a species under threat of extinction but it doesn't say dead end to me.

Nice composition and focus. I would have used levels to darken it a bit and bring out the texture and impact of the fur more.

I have this as a ribbon winner. Technicals are flawless, coloring is sweet, DOF is perfect. A great capture. 2 10s in this challenge, this is 1.

Enjoy the tight crop/shot and spot on focus of this image. The slightly opened mouth adds to the mood. Well done --8--

Cool picture. Is this the end of the photographers life? Have you ever seen those pictures called the last picture I ever took?
