I thought it was cool, but then I'm running on very little sleep :^)

I didn't see your second one, till you pointed it out. However, that makes three for me. I see eye sockets and a nose filling the area below the water line. Starting to sound like where's Waldo?

Great image and a well deserved ribbon. Not often do we get one that provokes levels of discussion like this.

Thanks for all good critics, glad you enjoyed it.
Lots of people think that I have used selective saturation or adjusted channels, but this is how it looks in reality, although auto contrast showed the true colors as the shot was taken a very clody day and the original histogram showed only app. 2-3 stops.

This is my first entry in DP-challenge so a 4th place is really nice (a ribbon would of course been a better start, =) I would just have neededa 0.007 more...

Tried a lot off differnet crops, but without the water reflection it just lost a lot.

Thanks everyone.

Nice reflection and composition, and the golden tones do better than rust red.

I lke this because you have made rubbish into a work of art, the form of the subject becoming abstract geometric shapes. The restricted colour adds to this and makes an image enjoyable for shape and colour irrespective of subject.

Nice framing. Did you desaturate certain channels to get the colours right? The patch of ground seems totally colourless, which seems a little out of place compared to the colour in the rest of the frame. Nevertheless, I still feel that this is an attractive shot.

This is bizarre in that I have no idea what it is but at the same time it is oddly moving. I think the smooth stillness of the reflective water plays well against the chaos of the about to tumble down boxes. The two contrasting elements play well together and force me to watch and wait. I know it will never happen but just maybe... The tones are absolutely beautiful. Frame a little large for my tastes. 9
