Very nice scene. The power lines and sign distract from the beauty a bit, but I still like it.

good potential if you remove the electric lines. The horizon is a bit tilted

A well silhouetted tree is a thing of beauty.

liked the colors a lot, nice shades of purple. the presence of the person adds to the composition. i think it would be a stronger composition if only the road sign and the electric cords weren't there. 7.

Very pretty..I like the sunset and the purple sky...I'm sure voters have said something about the power lines... 8 for me...

There is nothing you could have done to fix this, but I hate powerlines in nature shots. I'm going to overlook them though and give you a 9 for an otherwise great shot.

Great shot the sky very beautiful and works very well with the sillohuetted person and tree. To bad this challenge didn't allow you to clone out the wires.

Coloring is alittle on the odd side here. It is a shame about the wires and the sign.

Now, I know you can't do anything about this, but it's too bad there are wires and a sign at this location. I think the scene would have been even more powerful with only the tree and the bench in the picture. Still, a very nice photo, well-executed.

I like the subject and the mood but the powerlines and sign are distracting.

Lovely, too bad about the wires. I don't know if basic editing allows cloning to get rid of those.

How pretty! Darn, I wish this were advanced editing. As pretty as this picture is, if it didn't have the powerlines or that sign, it would be framable print beautiful!!!!!! I absolutely love it anyway tho!

to bad the road sign and wires are there, but not much you can do.

Not that you can do anything about it, but if it wasn't for those power lines disturbing the peace ... then again that may just be me. Still a great simple picture.

This is a good picture. Except for the wires and the sign-post. It would be nice to see a picture with these cloned out.

Oohhh, almost perfect, a pity that this stupid sign is placed along the road. The colors are great and the silhouets (including the power lines) are artwork.

I bet you are going to get lots of comments about the power lines but they just cant be avoided sometimes!! This is a lovely shot, the man on the bench just gives it that finishing touch. 8

Very nice colors. Although I found the powerlines to be a bit destracting. Other than that I really like the silhouettes

I know there's nothing you can do, but the powerlines and road sign really ruin this shot for me. I would be so peaceful without them and they just break it up. Love the color though...

I really like the color and feel of this picture, if the sign and telephone lines were gone it would be a ten.

shame for the electric lines, but otherwise beautiful serene scape. Nice colors and composition, nostalgic mood for me . Well done.

First of all, the horizon isn't quite level.
It's quite a peaceful image with the tree to the right and the person sitting on the bench to the left. However, I feel the power-lines and the sign in the middle almost ruin that peaceful feeling. I also somewhat feel that slightly more space is needed on the left side. I think I would have moved slightly back (or zoomed out) to give the tree and bench some more space and then cropped the bottom off the picture.

One other thing, there seems to be a bench or something in the foreground to the right. It's somewhat distracting.

Perfect shot, but it would have been better with the 2 wires hanging above the tree.

Very nice composition and subject. I almost feel like the tree and man are watching the sunset together. Would have ranked even higher if the title reflected that theme.
