Thanks again to my wife, without her this shot wouldn't have been possible because as you can see my hands are busy drawing ;)

I had this idea for the camouflage challenge, but I have been getting bad numbers for thinking out of the box... this might have not been counted as a camouflage example so I decided to go for the Single Light Source.

If there is interest I will later post a how to... hope you like it, hope it makes above 6... Time for a ribbon? pleaaseeee.

Second thoughts... decided to shoot again, my wife was very supportive at 7am, this is my best choice. After 50+ shots this is what I think Escher would have done if he was dying for a ribbon as I do ;)

Very nice execution! An Escher classic. But it seems there are at least two light sources (based on shadows of pencil points).

The idea is really clever. Maybe if you had waited for a less restrictive challenge you could have taken the absolute best shot. Maybe the 'single light source' limited your options a little. Still a great shot, though.

Nice crativity and great use of light...I had to really think on the score for this one. I leaned for a 7 because it doesn't blow my socks off but the lighting you have on the hands is incredible to me so I'm going against my own better judgement and giving you an 8

the only thing that really annoys me about this is that there is a left and a right hand, insted of two right hands mirroring each other.

There is alot going on in this picture. it's alittle busy.

Great idea, especially since it looks like you didn't have the luxury of two models, guessing that both hands are yours. Dramatic lighting, good color choices, very well conceived and executed.

You just stay and watch for a moment... I like it !! There is a slight disturbing shade on the lower right corner.... a little bit too much shade on the upper side... the idea is great !

A very creative idea which I felt has been wasted on this 'perticular' challenge. Sorry. But like I said I love the idea and gave you a 7.

This is ultimately the most clever entry. Great shadow and the use of the paper and drawing and the artist's reference. BRAVO!!!!!! (clap clap clap)
