Our daughter doing her best to model for me.
Shot at home with a single mono and a snoot.

Thanks all for the votes and comments.
Our youngest daughter Zoe is a monster in reality and wasn't interested in modelling for me on the night. Here's an out-take to show what happened when I took away her doll.

Big thumbs to doc for guessing this was my entry and artyste can finally say goodbye to his woody pic on the Pentax main page.

p.s. You must have the camera pages set to view only 14 images. I've still got Artyste's Woody pic, which is currently 15th. (I have the top 21 - and only two of mine, now...)

Yes I do have it set for 15 and Woody is now back :)

I'm sure you, samtrundle or artyste or maybe one of the others will make sure it's not there for long though.

bazz.

wow...bazz you're on fire. Thanks to you I no longer have half of that Ist DS page to myself. In other words, I'd better get off my arse, dust off the camera, and take a photo or two.

Congratulations on another great shot. (I have to say I like this better than the winner by a mile).

Absolutely superb. Only nit-pick is that the dolls nappy is over-exposed.

Hope she gives you a higher score than in Image Grain bazz. This is my only 10 in the whole challenge. Excellently dramatic. (she also reminds me of my daughter so that doesn't hurt...)

Too bad you couldn't spot edit that one little light streak out of the back ground. However, I love the effect of the light on the flooring.

I've viewed many child shots in numerous challenges and I seem to find it difficult to like them let alone love them, until today. This is such a wonderful picture. The light in my humble opinion has certainly captured an angelic look. I love it, very well done. '10'

This is superb. Excellent use of light/shadow. And her expression is just perfect. Composition is spot-on. There's a light spot in the background, but I can live with that! - 10
