| Wow, the processing here is fantastic - perhaps would have liked to see either a little more or a little less on the right (if that makes sense - the crop where you can almost see the brown fur seems a bit strange) but otherwise a brilliant shot. |

Again, I am baffled that you have never one a ribbon on this site.
Great Emotion, great composition, great detail, great lighting. A top pick for this challenge, and a favorite. A highly underrated shot, and yet another amazing capture from you. |

| I loved this shot as soon as I saw it. it's just so fantastic. the eye of the dog is very expressive and the loving hand adds great emotion to the image. and beyond that, great clarity, composition, and post-processing. very well done! |

| Thought this expression of devotion would score higher. The dog's expression suggests the shooter is intruding, adding to the effect. Great shot. |

| 7 - Good character, nice color combinations. Criticism; difficult, perhaps a slightly different 'hand pose', a little sharper on the dog's eye/cheek, may have made this even better in my opinion. Not sure on the frame, 'works' but wonder if a variation (especially of color) may have enhanced certain features/colors in the shot. |

| The lighting is superb as is the clarity of this shot. I like the detail of the hand. The human element mixed with the animal world always evokes such emotion for me. The closeness, the cameraderie. Nothing beats touch and this depicts it perfectly. 10 |

| I love the hand and the dog fur and all that, just the one eye of the dog gives this image a weird feeling. I wish I could see both. Still a good shot though. |
