 Snakes can't say no when you want them to model. Rudy the snakee was tossed in a bucket of fall leaves and picked up over and over to keep him on top of the leaves. He is my kind of model, he never bites.
shot in RAW, converted in CL1 with little change, then sent to PSCS where it was slightly desaturated as it was just too vibrant to be belived. sharpened, shrunk for web, and usm again.

Very nice example of camouflage. I'd love to see the fully saturated version you say was "too vibrant"; my quibble with this one was it seemed a little flat... Congrats on ribbon!

this is one of myfavorites in the whole challenge, I don't imagine I would have seen him sitting in those lieave. :) The vibrant colors in this are the strong point I think, having a bit more yellow would have been great. I think possibly a different crop could have done wonders also. but I still really like this.

8 - Good meet of Challenge. Very nice colors. Criticism; different composition if possible, either sharper angle (face more at the fore), or the inclusion of the entire body, depending what you had to work with, may have made this even better in my opinion. Difficult with such a small snake though.

Nice job, certainly blends into fall foliage, wonder what he does in the summer.
