A take off on "The Early Bird Catches The Worm". I had some eggs left over from my picture "Insemination" in the Spoon, Fork and Knife Challenge so I decided to put them to good use. Hollowed out the egg and placed the toy bird parts inside. The worm is real!
I didn't have much time after the "Spoon..." Challenge. I wish I had more time to play with this idea. I see some things I would like to have done differently and tried to get a better result. Oh well, on to the next challenge!

I rated this highly on the first pass and bumping it up now. Great idea and well executed.

I like the concept. The composition isn't too bad, though it does seem slightly unbalanced. Probably would have benefited from the egg being turned forward a little more so the leg wasn't sticking so far out to the side and causing the empty space to the bottom and top of it. Also I don't really care for the color in this image...just looks like bad white balance...

Quite goofy and funny. I would have darkened the crack line more, otherwise convincing in presentation.

Took me a couple of moments to get it, then made me say "Aha!" and laugh. Hard to improve upon, very nicely done!

I like the concept, however the crack in the egg is too artificial for me and I get hung up on it everytime I look at this photo. Also, I think the background could be a bit brighter without sacrificing contrast between it and the egg.

How'd you do that??? Really clever. I can't figure out why the worm is there. Love the detail of the little foot. hee hee 7
