Hi Keith, I really love this image, and have now added it to my favorites..... I have just become a full member of DPC, and also realized that your camera is the same as mine, which took this super shot. I also have a Kodak DX6490, and only recently realized just how good a camera it is..... Once again, I just love this image, so thank-you.....

I agree. This is superior because of the tension bear identified. As a result, one cannot simply pass by; it demands some involvement from the viewer. Great image, Keith!

I'm sorry, but this doesn't deserve 2nd place, however, a spectacular-looking photograph, maybe 3rd place would be better and the photo in 3rd place could be 2nd :) SORRY!

Stunning photo! Isn't that a great little camera? I'm sorry I ever let mine go. Although I know someone else is enjoying it as much as I did (and I always highly recommend Kodak).

I so nearly went back the next morning with a ladder after i had edited this shot for just that reason :)
and your shot would still have killed mine

Very dreamy, indeed! Looks like one of those surreal worlds you'd find in a video game or something.

I really like this, it's moody and atmospheric. The crop seems a little severe at the top, but I trust your judgement;)

Pretty cool, not quite an 10 from me but as close as can be. I don´t know why exactly I don´t wanna give it a 10 but it just feels a bit wrong composition wise, a little bit to cramped for my taste, without having seen the rest of the scene I feel somehow like I would have liked a wider shot better. Still an awesome shot and like I said, gave it a 9 and I don´t give out many of those.

I still don't know what to think about this one. It has a strange "Restaurant at the End of the Universe" feel to it. The colours, composition and "smoky" water look great. So, 9 from me.

One of those naturally beautiful places in nature. I am amzed at the warm feeling this image creates throught its subject of steam on the water.

Yes!! not even the top ten.... this is the Award Wining photograph... and if not the top 3 others may not agree but i 100% gurantee. the composition, the work of art, the lighting, the simplicity, the colors, its all there..... and i gave you a 10+ because you make the other challengers look like fools

excellent execution

I wish this shot were all natural materials... somehow the platform detracts, to my eye. It's a beautiful image of the scene, though.
