the effect of the shallow dof could have been pushed more to create a more dramatic picture

Clear focus on the main subject is good. A shallower DOF and tighter frame to isolate it more would have made it a stronger image.

picture seems a bit dark - I think even an an Auto Levels adjustment would have really improved this image.

Pretty flowers. I think this could pop even better with just a bit more lighting, especially on the foreground flower.

A little more brightness, contrast & saturation will remove the gray tint on the petals and make this image stand out. This is a beautiful flower.

Nice capture of color but a tad too dark.

This is kind of ho-hum to me. I think eliminating the mums in the background so that there is only a single species represented would have lent more weight to your title and made for a simpler composition. The bright magenta, although it is blurred draws the eye to no effect. The leaf at the bottom of the frame should have either been cropped or placed in the frame in a more thought out way. As it is, it is competing with the flower for focus.

Lovely shot but a bit dull, a bit brighter in levels and a touch more saturation would have helped. Nice framing
