hehe i meant to do the chalk thing, but completly forgot.

it would have been cool if you put a circle of chalk around the bullet cases. like what they do in real life (i think)

First off, this is my first entry ever into a photo contest.

Second, I used ISO 400 on purpose for the grainy look. The more I looked at it, the more I thought that the street lights were too brightly featured. It was not cropped, just resized for the challenged and very little contrast/brightness adjustments were made.

The camera was 1" off the ground and focus locked to the distance of the #1 bullet shell.

Thank you all for your comments and for a great first entry experience!

Too grainy. Night shots are hard to get.

I like the grainieness//noise. I think it adds to the whole atmosphere of this image. It reminds me a lot of a scene from CSI. This is a creative take on the challenge.

Critical comments : tthe crop is a little tight on the left and the bright lights draw your eye like a moth to a bug light.

great shot, the street lights may be a bit too bright, but still a great shot

Nice. The black and white along with the low angle is very effective.

Great composition, I liked the way you lowered your camera for the shot.
I think this was the best angle for the shot. DOF and lighting is good.
Possibly one of the top 3. 10

All to real of a scene... great job setting this up (ground level view makes the photo). Great job!

Nice shot. Grain is nice. I have been wondering if it would have been better without the 'horizon' line in the middle. I am not sure. the little pb on the left is dragging my eyes there. If you want the one park .. you get the thing in the upper left corner. Nice night B&W shot. 7. Lionel

Oh, argh.... I hope this was something you set up for this week's challenge. Violence sucks.

Good shot, but why so grainy. I do not understand. Anyway, this is a very good shot.

Excellent photo ! The light, composition and idea are great ! This is one of VERY few this challenge that doesn't need a title to save it :) 10

Great Idea. Nice composition. Usually good to avoid those nasty streetlights though. A bit grainy

Not only a great perspective, but it begins to tell a story.
