lol, very funny title. As an ex muso, I really feel for that poor guy, his fingers must have barely been able to tune the guitar, let alone play it!

This guy would have had whatever money in my wallet I had, and a nice hot coffee or hot chocolate.

I know people who can't pull themselves out of bed into their car cuz it's too cold, at a cushy office job. If this can can lug his ass up and out into the snow and do his thing, well, that deserves something.

Great capture. Terrific focus and intensity on the subject's face. The crop seems a tad tight on the top, but otherwise I can find little to criticize. Very stirring urban scene.

Here's number 1000 for you. Great image that offers many emotional responses. I hope you gave him a buck.

Poor fella. Is that Santa?

Anyway, you definitely captured the "cold" aspect well. Good job.

Great atmospheric shot. i'd definitely drop him some change. Perhaps you could try curve control next time to better the contrast.

Funny, that would have been good for the Visual Pun challenge.

Like the title, like the pic too. Not overly keen on that tree in the foreground on the right though. Nice candid.

Wow, it looks cold so title does suit image well and it's a good shot as well...

The second first tree on the right is out of focus. However by cropping it out it works :)

clever title, good portrait, background is somewhat distracting

Nice portrait of musician and DOF that comparatively blurs the BG figures; trees seem to block it in and limit the perspective on the city though

That's one dedicated street musician! First I thought you should have cropped out the pole & the trees, but then I tried it and all city context was lost. It was no longer a photograph about the city; it became a photograph about the musician instead. Still good, but the meaning of it changed. Not, I feel sure, what you would have wanted. So you made a fine choice and a fine image as a result. Well done.

Well done, I wonder if it would have looked even better converted to B&W?

nice shot, but the composition doesn't quite sit with me

Good city life entry. I'd be curious to see what this looks like with the pole on the left cropped out. With it in there, the gentleman seems..."boxed in" by the trees. All in all though, I think it's a good entry.

Classic image of city life. I like the snow and the way the trees frame the main subject. Could wish for slightly warmer skin tones.

nice capture, very emotional, I just don't like the concrete pole to the left, it doesn't correspond good with the trees...
good luck

clever title, but the shot could be more interesting, maybe from a different angle or close up view

I can almost hear the strumming of his guitar. Nice emotive capture. Only suggestion would have been to bump up the saturation some.

Awesome title. That's a dedicated musician!!! I wish the contrast were a bit more. Maybe saturate the colors a bit more. I do like the composition though. 7
