 In this attempt I hung both of the young models using a roofers ropes an harnesses. It was quite funny to see them hanging in my back yard. My wife and their mother positioned herself underneath and we shot away.

I cloned out "minor" elements including the rope above the girls heads, snowflakes and some distracting trees. I love this shot and what it symbolizes. Hope it does well.

Special thanks to my models ... this is my craziest setup to date. I was laughing seeing my guys hanging, helpless, it was great fun.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

So I click on an image to critique and look what comes up! What a fantastic image...very imaginative and creative, and so very....Coley-like. When I saw this image I, like many others, thought you used a trampoline to get this shot, but you have proved me wrong on this one.

First off let me start with the things I don't like about the image; My biggest complaint are the trees and what looks like the top of a building near the bottom of the picture. In my opinion they are a little distracing from the subject of the image, however, it may have been unavoidable in your case. Other than that...there is not a whole lot wrong with your photo. As mentioned in an earlier comment...the crop is a little wierd. If it were possible to get all of the moms body in the photo I believe this would of been on the home page. But...once again, this may have been impossible with the setup you were using. Those are my only real complaints, although the lighting may ba just a tad harsh...it's nothing to get upset about.

Now what I like about the photo; The image itself is very imaginative and creative. It shows off you signature style. The focus is spot on. The colors are great...I really like the way all three of them are wearing the same darker shades. It helps show unity between the two girls and their mom. I could go on and on about how great your execution of the idea was...but I would be repeating everything that the commenters before me have said.

Overall...great, great image. I look forward to seeing what oyu can come up with in the future. Have fun and Good luck!

I *knew* I'd seen something similar.. were you DQ'd from the "Heroes" challenge before with a similar shot or something? I was looking for it and couldn't find it.. and your notes point to something like that.

The most dynamic and creative image in this challenge. It exceeds and delivers an exciting image. Bumping up. The image still rang in my head and I am back for the final bump. Good luck!

two things i notice - the mom should be pushing up on something to make her muscles pop. and the crop on the thighs is a bit awkward.

What a great perspective. Moms are supermoms and you captured it superbly. Love the sharpness of the image. This angle really gives the impression that she is flying. Great shooting.

Trampoline? Great image. Too bad there couldn't have been a bright sunny day for some interest in the sky. Top 1/3 of the challenge IMO.

Well done. I think you could have added some red back as the flash seems to have given their skin a pale/cold tint. The composition is nice. 6

Why isn't she wearing some sort of super hero costume...like a bikini or something? :p This is really well done. Looks like they had fun doing it too. The framing works really well with the tree in the background. Well done!
