Well she's not really a hundred years old, we don't really know how old she is actually.

She's my mom's aunt. I think she's mad at us because we didnt buy her smoke.

I wonder how many people are gonna reconize this, none I recon.

Her eyes tell a many a story..anger, saddness and love.
To put these to paper or parint is a talent few of us have.
Many may take a photo, but few tell a story.Your work is simply charmed.

What can I say, but 'Wow'.

This is National Geographic quality portraiture.

My only comment is that it <>> like some Joey Lawrence style grunge has been added to this photo. Her face just looks an unnatural color. I don't think that you did anything to cause or enhance this in PP, so I'm not docking your score or anything. Perhaps it says something to the power of the photo that something that looks like it has been enhanced for effect is probably real.

Meh, I dunno. DOF and lighting are SPOT on, though perhaps some warmer light might have given a slightly happier emotion, rather than the cold desolation I feel looking at this picture.

Great job.

Very emotive photo. Composition and hand position is nice.

I think converting to black and white, brightening the right side and bumping the contrast up just a smidge would really make this top notch.

WOWSERS! I am speechless...totally stunned. When this loaded, it literally threw me back in my chair (seriously). After looking for a while, I got my wife and made her check it out :-) I could go on and on about what I like about this one, I mean on and on. The title here is not needed, but yet it compliments the image without being pretentious. Composition, focus, lighting, everything just superb. I'm sure I will revisit this amazing photo many times. I go now to mark the favorites box and score a 10, thank-you.

Excellent composition on this portrait of a woman who has experienced many years. Frame is closely cropped to keep attention focused on this lady. We see the roadmap of her years and look deep into her eyes. The red around her eyes makes me think that she has been crying. Also the look in her eyes, to me at least, holds so much sorrow. The poise of the hand is as such that it speaks two things. One it is raised to the heavens above in a posture of emploring "Why?". The second is of pulling the hand away from the face after spending time reminiscing about the past that will never return. This portrait invokes such a response in the viewer that makes us stop and look upon this woman.
