Well, I've decided on this one. I know DPC loves landscapes, but my best landscapes of the year are either in challenges, or entered in another contest (and posted asking for votes).

This was taken in January in an empty fishtank with the kit lens. I know splash pictures are slightly looked down upon here as "overdone", but I've always loved the shape of the water and the lighting contrasts in this one.

Post production, very little is actually done. The biggest is cloning out some dust on the surface of the water. I also ran neat image as the picture was ISO 1600 and fairly noisy. Very minor levels and contrast. The pic actually looked better the less I did.

Great capture. I little more contrast and a little more color would've added some real pop to this.

Although the droplet has become a bit of a cliche here at dpc, you just can't help but admire this sort of excellance.

This is very well done, but we see it so often I am kinda tired of it. I also have a stop action liquid on my profile, i think everyone does. I think voters will score it well, but branch out1 please! lets see something new!
