I really like how this seems to hold a story. The b&w, contrast and range of texture is just great.

This is one of those amazing photos I often come back to. Perfect in composition and tone, but more importantly, contains those intangibles qualities that just elevate it to a new level of art. Beautiful

It's nicely done, but it looks upside down to me. Right side up is better.

While this concept/technique may be tried and tested, your execution of this photograph is richly memorable and I applaud your pulling off to perfection something which I too have tried with little success. This has that JPR touch of gritty gravitas which I always enjoy in your work. Your choice of subject (the cobbles) is spot-on and the editing is gimmickless and appropriate.

I just love this shot. Stuff like this just doesn't do all that well here, but it's good, very good.

You know, if you move the screen up and down while looking at the shot (scroll with the mouse), it looks like the raindrops are moving, like they're just hitting the puddle. It's really neat. You got me looking at bricks and mud now (OK, I was looking at them before, but I'm looking even more now).

And it is upside down, right?

Man I loved this shot. I personally had this for the Red ribbon. Can't believe this finished where it did. Losing faith in DPC voters. This is just AWESOME.

Flipped my laptop upside down and liked it better the other way. Something about the flipped perspective just hurts my eyes... Technically a fine capture, though.

Egad it comes so close to slapping me silly. I love it. But I wish it to be more. It all stands out so wonderfully except the counterpoint. And I doubt it's the photographer here. There is too much quality surrounding. If only for a bit less overcast, a slight break in the clouds to iluminate 3 degrees more the images reflecting. Very inspired and inspiring overall.

Oh well, I like this kind of photos...good contrast, light, subject (umbrella's people), just the upper left side is a bit boring, but anyway, good pic. Good luck.
