Well, these two were in a world of their own for quite a while, oblivious to the people passing them by. They were obviously trying to make up (rather than make out). I caught them in this shot but didn't feel I really lived up to the challenge. It was my second challenge, so I thought I'd dive in again and just see how I go.

There is a lot that I would have changed. But it's a nice moment.

Keep on trying. It is probably true that some felt it did not single out enough, though there are a number of images that only had one subject in it without the crowd. I think maybe a bit closer would have helped, and a bit better focus.

Their isolation from "society" is more psychological than physical -- interesting twist on the topic.

Nice shot, but no crowds depicted here to be singled-out from by minimal depth of field.

To bad this ain't really singled out, it's a real nice pic!

You caught a nice moment, but the DOF isolation is barely used here, and the composition is not good, with the couple standing dead in front of the waterfall.

Where is the crowd?

Not really standing out from a crowd are they? Also, the picture could stand some more contrast.

The challenge asked for a person to be singled out in a crowd

This is a good picture but I don't see how it pertains to the challenge?
