Excellent shutter speed for slowing the water down. I love the feeling of depth that is demonstrated here. Would be better if the sky were not so blown out. Did you try adding a light transparent blue gradient? This may bring the sky back, and help the back mountain not look so washed out.

The textures of the rocks are so appealing...

Nice shot. Why so small, though? Show it off!

Very pretty stream! I do however not care to much about the blown out sky.
And it would be better if you used a bit larger size. All this imo, obviously. Good luck!

I really love mountain scenes and the slow shutter streams and this one has them both. Really nice picture, however one comment to really make this one stand out more would be to have it as close to the MAXIMUM allowed size. "File Size: No larger than 150 KB (153,600 bytes). Dimension: No dimension may be shorter than 160 pixels or longer than 640 pixels." Your dimensions are at 75,372 bytes and 300 x 449 pixels. The larger the size the better it is too see all the little details. Smaller pictures usually get penalized with lower scores due to the size only-Having said all that, I do want to let you know that I like the photo and wish you luck, and if it does not score as you were expecting know that it may be due to the sizing.

I might have cropped the sky right out of this image... the bottom is awesome!

Remember to *always* use the full 640 pixel limit if you wish to do well.

I personally would have liked the sky to have been croped out, as i find the glare a little distracting, the rest of the image has a lovely ambience, reminds me of days out

It is a pity to waste one whole point (and that'll be the effect at the end of voting) just because of the small submission size. You've received (and you will receive) a few comments on the size, so I'll try to concentrate on the other elements. The sky is completely blown, to the point of me thinking that it was better left out of the photo altogether. As a result of overexposure of the sky, the motion of the water is very nicely presented here. For the future, I suggest either stopping the aperture down some, or using the ND filter with the same effect - stop down by 1/2 or more.
Good luck!

This looks to be a very nicely composed photo but I wish it was bigger. It would be good to use the full 640px limit next time.

Nice exposure. This shot would have been umpteen times better if a 0.6 graduated neutral density filter was used.. this wouold have held back the exposure in the background and made this piece a true wall-hanger.

Great shot except for the blown sky. The ridge adds interest, but I think I would have cropped it out in this instance.

A little too hazy but water effect was captured nicely.

This is a lovely picture, good capture of the moving water, but the size really doesn't help, it could have so much more impact - but it is really small.
