Post Challenge:

Thank you for all the wonderful comments! This challenge was incredible with so many wonderful images... I'm proud to be in the top 25.

Antelope Canyon is one of my favorite places. This trip was during the winter when the sun is lower in the sky so there weren't any of the famous sun beams. I had to find other ways of capturing the canyon, so I looked up! :-)

Beautiful capture, deep reds and blues really set this off. One flaw I can see is the light in the middle left of the frame creating a hot spot but still a wonderful capture.

Beautiful. I like the composition -- it makes it a little different from other slot canyon shots I've seen. Great work with the color and contrast.

I doubt it's possible to go wrong with this wonderful subject, but this looks great!

Popular photo spot, eh, but a less -than-the-usual point of view of it. Well done.

I love this, except for the slight over-exposure. I imagine it was tough conditions for exposing correctly though! I like the upwards view rather than the standard 'forward-light beams' view. It makes an interesting swirl pattern.

Very, very cool. I like how you've made this interesting abstract out of the natural formation. I like the warm, inviting colors and shapes. And there is a great play of light and shallow. Nice job on the exposure, I like how there is still some discernable detail in the shadows. Great shot!

640 by whatever does not do this justice. You need to take that into consideration when entering here. I've had awesome shots that just didn't work in this media bomb and was depressed about it. I would love to see the full size work up of this shot someday!

It's hard to take a bad picture in one of those caverns. Very nice. I like the abstract feel.

This is among the most beautiful images in the current challenge. The composition is extraordinary, as is the range of color and light levels. Focus seems virtually perfect to me. DOF brings the eye forward in the photo rather than letting it escape into the light. Well done. Among my top picks.

Gorgeous light and color. Feels like someone scooped some ice cream out of the container...it looks good enough to eat. Like the shadow on the interior walls.

Captivating colors and shape draws you in.
