What a buff Buff! Nude, but not nude! Color, yet Black & White! Seen & reflected! Even a real life example of the Teacher's Bell Curve!
Can you get any more comparison & contrasts in one photo?
Impressive! I bow before greatness!
Rate that 10...10...10!!!!

Beautiful job... congrats on your placing! I'm curious, upon looking at this, whether it is actually a reflection, or you did it in post processing (as allowed by the rules) if it is a reflection wow! Its perfect, if not, I'm guessing you turned it upside down and then flipped it... either way, very very well done. Congrats!

Great shot but could have softened the dividing line of b/w and colour - and matched the black density. [7]

I really like the lighting on this one. Doing one half in color and the other in B&W is an interesting twist that I like. That said, I'm not sure if you were trying to mimic a real reflection or not. If so I think you should have tried to get the hands to touch palms. Either way I like the balance in the composition. Good work and good luck in the challenge.

I love the ballance between the model and the reflection. Was the color for the reflection removed post production?

Mostly I am curious how you did this shot, i.e. color with b&w. Hopefully you will tell us after the show. Color and lighting are subtle and inviting.

In my top 3 for this challenge. Very good use of colour and very well composed (rule of thirds is hade to be broken). Personally I would have attempted to blend the images slightly, the hard edge on the right of the image distracts slightly (but I'm being very picky at this point!)

Very, very good. Great use of the free-edit rule, and a very powerful image. the lighting is bang-on as well. can't find much wrong with it. What did it look like with the colour reflection? (I KNOW you tried it!)

This is an interesting image, with the image split between color and a black and white reflection it could also have quite a few possible interpretations if someone where to look deeply enough. The tone and symmetry are good, I like the play of light and shadow along the arms. If there is one thing that I would change it would possibly be having the hands touch. Either way it is a great image.

BEAUTIFUL! Really gorgeous! I love what you did here... just wonderful! I'm wondering whether this was an actual reflection, or done in photoshop? Whatever it is... this is a beautiful image... really really nicely done! -10-

One of my absolute favs, this is a very interesting concept, executed well. Lighting and composition are wonderful, and the photo just draws the viewer in so that you keep wanting to look at it. Very nice!

I was expecting so much more from this chllenge... fortunately your work is one of the better ones. The idea is simple but elegant. I would´ve give the B&W a bit more contrast and desaturated the color one. never the less good job!

I like the pose and lighting here. It seems like an effective composition as a whole. I really like the abstract shape it produces if you let your eyes release their focus a little bit. I do take issue with the inclusion of both the b&w and color versions. I can see why you'd want to include both, as they each have different strengths and weaknesses. I think I prefer the black and white version, because it emphasizes the forms better, seems to have a smoother flow to it, and I much prefer the shadowed black hair to the brown of the color. The color version has more warmth to it and seems more personal than the cold b&w shot. So while I think both of these individually are good shots, I think the combination of the two results in a clash. The color and black and white doesn't flow together into one seemless shot. Instead of bringing out each others advantages they seem to dull each other's strengths. So, I like the reflection (which I'm guessing was post-production produced and not an actual reflection) because of the added abstract quality it creates, but I'd have made the entire image black and white or color (and personal I'd have gone b&w). Great work though. This might show up on my favorites. 9

Absolutely wonderful image. Lighting is perfect. Is the reflection real or is it photoshop? You probably could not decide whether to use the shot in B/W or colour and this allowed you to use both. Great Job! My pic for the winner. 10

Are you the same photographer who did a similar pose for symmetry? If so, I liked that shot so much better...if not, sorry for the intrusion :).
I honestly have to say that the shot would have been better without the black and white portion.

My favourite in this challenge... great composition, nice concept. Lovely skin tones. My only criticisms are that I don't like the background, and I think the legs could be clearer but it's still a stunning picture. 10

A very cool effect. Although I see this more as a montage than a "post-shot-adjustment", so I'm afraid that loses you the 10 from me. However, I wouldn't be the least surprised if it won the challenge.

Very well done. Nice use of the mirror effect. And the colors work well too. I wish we had more detail in the haire, to add more texture and volume to the photo. Very nice visual impact on first viewing. 7
