 I know this looks like taking the easy way out, but there have to be some advantages to living in the same county as Yosemite Valley. :) I had a beautiful, perfect day on Friday driving up and taking pictures, so even if this rates a 4.2 I'll not consider it a wasted effort.

Back for comments. I saw the thumbnail and first reaction was WOW! But then when I clicked on the larger version, the image seems a bit soft. The grandeur of Al Capitan is clearly shown in this image. The crop could have been tighter so that the verticality of this massive granite face could clearly come across.

Subject is the same as Adams. You compete with the Master too much. Very nice composition. More contrast is needed.

You've captured the grandiosity of Adams' work very well. Sky is a bit noisy.

Good exposure but there seems to be a lack of sharpness. The out of focus tree detracts from the scenen becouse of that...good conversion to B&W though...
