If I saw this in an Ansel Adams book, it wouldn't stand out. I would readily accept it. You fulfilled the challenge well, as far as I'm concerned.

Subject is fitting. Seems like the sky would be better if it has some brightness. The cloulds seem to be lost with no definition.

This is a great tribute to Ansel Adams.....

Ansel?.....Ansel who?

Kidding very nice.

Just playing with you since everyone else had to make the title his whole name, like I wouldn't know it was Ansel Goldstein. :) He was a great photographer wasn't he? So don't tell anyone but this got a 9.8 9.8 9.8 9.3(russin Judge) 9.9 (American Judge) and a 10 from me. Very nice.

This is a nice capture. Solid on the foundation of BW that Ansel would use. I would suggest locating the peaks since it's your main subject in the thirds using ROTs. This would make for a stronger image IMHO. Great shot!

This is a great mountain shot that fits the title well. The one problem with this photo is that it is way flat. The whites are grey and thats unfortunate cause Its going to hurt you in this competition. I also would suggest cropping the top 5th off to put more focus on the mountain and clouds.

Nice shot. I would like to see a bit more contrast though.

I think it would look more like one of his photos if it were wide angle and had a bit more contrast. As it is, it's just kind of this mountain dead centered in the shot. If done from a side perspective, you'd get more interesting snow and trees.

overall too flat IMO

a beautiful shot...it just lacks punch in the whites...there are a lot of ansel adams shots, so you may have a competition on your hands...great place, wonderful place to take a photograph, so great selection

I wish there were some brighter whites here, nice shot otherwise but with Adams missing the zones is a killer.
