My Jack Russell Terror, Fizzgig, with her favorite toy - The Ball. The Ball changes every time one wears out, but it's always The Ball. This is one of the very rare occasions she stayed still long enough and the light was good enough to get a shot of her in focus.

Damn those blown out highlights. Tried to use the camera's crappy built-in flash as a fill, but I'm not convinced it worked very well; I think it just added lots of reflections on her eyes. This is my first real attempt at using dodge/burn to really affect the look of a photo. Not sure that worked, either.
