Actually it's a candid. I took tens of images of the same bench and I hope to put a series on my website as soon as I catch up with my backlog...

The same bench is also in the off-center challenge (//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=287554) and I thought it would have done better than this one, but... you never know...

I gave it a "10," and I think it should have gotten a blue ribbon. That said, a yellow is nothing to scoff at. Excellent work, and congratulations!

When I first saw this shot, my first reaction was that it wasn't a centered shot and 'Whoa, look at all that dead space to the left.', now, seeing it again, it is a very candid shot and they look very cute together. Great capture!

I like the simplicity of this shot. The horizontal lines contrasted with the vertical bodies. A couple just happy to be together... The tint is great. I only had one nitpick. She doesn't seem to have any hands. It's a minor detail that I didn't even notice till my thrid time through, but now it bugs me... =] All in all a great shot. 8

Candid? If not, I've been taken- either way I like the "edge"/texture. It's a 9!

Nice pix, excellent lines, excellnt texture, excellent comp, blacks need work, whites barely in, light flat but not disturbing, nice flow, overall could be a masterful print

Use of negative spaces is one of my favourite techniques and it works very well here. Expressive shot, and I feel romance between them, it's right on their faces. B and W is a great choice. Good luck!

The plain, sterile setting really emphasizes the relationship between your subjects. All those horizontal lines and the people are vertical but their gaze into eachother's eyes is horizontal too. Nice tones, good focus, even lighting. Lovely, one of my favorites for this challenge.
