The biggest problem I see is that the fire pattern that the guy is making blocks both their faces. Way too bad! I really like the creativity and idea of this shot, but that hurts the picture fairly seriously. Had you been able to frame them inside the big section the pattern creates, I think you would have been onto something. There might be a slight color cast to the picture and there are two strange artifacts on their legs. A shot which had potential to go far though...

I think this could have been very cool if it was at a different angle

Not bad, like the flames but what this image is severly lacking in my opinion is someones face, it just doesn´t strike a cord with me as it is. Still like it though and better than most shots in the challenge, gave it a 6.

Nice light patterns. Too bad the couple is obscured, it would have been great to get visible heads/faces.

That's crazy cool, but I have no idea (besides the title) what this has to do with romance. Maybe if you had set one of those things to swinging around the two lovers in and embrace, and it wasn't so obvious that they were the ones twirling. I'm thinking someone above them swinging it around. Tenuous position for them I guess. I think the thing for me, is that their energies seem so concentrated on making their fires, that they're apart while being so close... 6, nah, make it 7
