This is a great portrait and a very nice black and white as well... Compositionally, I think there needs to be a little breating room beneath the guitar, or it needs to be cropped more tightly to make the closeness to the edge of the frame appear to be intentional...

for some reason, I really don't care for the typical "music" shot. But you broke that barrier with the natural pose by getting away from the traditional stage shot. Good job.

I think your composition is excellent/ I love the perfectly blurred background. There is enough detail t add interest, but not to take away from the subject.
